With 41 lifts, over 330 runs, more than 10,000 feet of elevation and an average annual snow fall of 355 inches it is the largest ski resort in the United States with some of the best snow in the world. Boasting an incredible historic mountain town with abundant shopping and dining it consistently ranks as one of the top ski destinations.
Half Day Private Lessons start at $995 (3-hours)

Nationally Certified PSIA Ski Instructor Chris Hellman is available year round to work with you at the ski resort of your choice. With outstanding winter destinations in the Western United States and incredible summer destinations in South America, skiing with us becomes a year round adventure. Consistency is the key to great ski technique and development, it's why we offer you the ability to custom tailor a lesson plan with your instructor year round.

Day Sails

Come join us on mauka makai for an unforgettable day of sailing on beautiful Sandy Hook Bay, New York Harbor, or the Near Coastal Shores of New Jersey and Long Island. Start your adventure with a beautiful sail on Sandy Hook Bay followed by anchoring for lunch at Horse Shoe cove where you'll swim, paddle board, float on our rafts, rest, read, or just catch some rays on mauka makai's bikini pad. Close it all out with another relaxing sail back to our home port, where you'll be invited to take a turn at the helm of our amazing vessel. We will custom tailor your day adventure to exactly what you would like it to be. With full day offshore sailing adventures, excursions to Breezy Point, or longer destinations on full day trips to Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty anything is possible.
3 Hour Cruise $850 (12pm-3pm) - up to 6 guests
Full Day 6 Hour Cruise $1650 (11am-5pm) - up to 6 guests
Additional hours can be added to 6 Hour Cruises at the rate of $350 per hour for longer sails to NYC

Sunset Cruises

Come experience spectacular sunsets on the tranquil waters of Sandy Hook Bay aboard our beautiful 48' sailing yacht mauka makai. Take in the magic hour while under full sail or at anchor in one of our secluded coves. The perfect end to any day and a wonderful way to spend time with family and friends or toast a special occasion. We will create an unforgettable memory for however you choose to enjoy your evening.
3 Hour Cruises $950 - up to 6 guests

Bare Boat Sailing Charters w/Captain & Crew

If you have ever dreamed of sailing and living in style on your own private sailboat in the Caribbean or New England then this adventure is for you. A Bare Boat Sailing Charter is when you Charter (rent) a luxury vessel from a boat charter company and hire/bring your own personal captain and crew with you to pilot the vessel and move it to a new location each day. It is the equivalent of having your own personal chauffeur, guide, and assistant to move your floating accommodations anywhere you desire within the chain of islands, secluded lagoons, and tiki bars you have selected. We are intimately familiar with sailing the Abaco islands of the Bahamas, the US and British Virgin Islands, and the islands of New England including Fishers, Shelter, Block, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket. We find just the right vessel in the island chain you desire to sail and then build you an exclusive cruising itinerary of your dreams.
Cruises are 5-7 Night Adventures and are priced according to destination, time of year, and vessel size.

Sailing /Cruising Instruction
S/V mauka makai / Sandy Hook NJ

Our series of immersive hands on sailing, boat piloting, and yacht systems courses literally puts you at the helm and in charge of our vessel with the sole purpose of preparing you to one day navigate safely on your own. Instead of trying to cram everything about boating into one overwhelming lesson we have broken it down into three parts that can be taken as a complete course or individually depending on your current experience and how far you intend to go with your boating adventure. We start with Sailing 101 a hands on realtime sailing course that covers everything you need to know about how a sailboat works and how to sail it. The next course focuses on advanced boat piloting / handling skills while under sail & motor, navigation, and on the water safety. Lastly we finish with an in depth exploration of yacht systems. How they function and what to expect aboard a modern day cruiser. A must have if you are about to own
or plan to own a cruising vessel in the years to come.
Each 4.5 hour course is $900 with up to two participants
Complete set of three 4.5 hour courses is $2700 with up to two participants and is spread over three days.
